Description

The grand presence of the Howard Miller 611-142 Edinburg 82nd Anniversary Grandfather Clock, with its brass pendulum and the inspiring beauty of carved wood, will become a tribute to your family. Ornate details, such as the swan neck pediment in book-matched olive ash burl and carved rosettes, recall eras of the past and add the warmth of generations to your home. The clock is flanked by large reeded columns with turned column caps. The beautiful brushed satin brass illuminated dial of this floor clock includes cast corner and center ornaments, plus a silver chapter ring with brass Arabic numerals. Above the face is a moon arch with an astrological blue moon phase, with a special "Ambassador Collection" inscription on the hemispheres. The beautiful brass work of the face is matched by a cast center disk on the pendulum and the banded satin brass finish of the chime weight shells.

The lower locking door includes graceful Gadroon molding with patterned beveled glass that reveals a beautiful glass mirrored back behind the pendulum. Side panels also include beveled glass - remove them to gain easy access to the movement. The cable-driven Kieninger movement offers a triple chime and automatic chime shut-off for nighttime.

Includes heirloom record certificate with capsule, so you can record the clock's ownership for future generations. Use adjustable levelers under each corner to make the clock stable on uneven floors and carpet. Give your children and grandchildren something to remember you by - the most beautiful grandfather clock of any generation.

The Howard Miller Story
Incomparable workmanship, unsurpassed quality, and a quest for perfection - these were the cornerstones of the company Howard C. Miller founded in 1926, at the age of 21. Even then, Howard Miller understood the need to create products that would be steeped in quality and value.
