With simple lines and timeless elegance that's difficult to add to your home any other way, the Howard Miller 611-176 Nicea Grandfather Clock stands tall with grace and power. An ornate bonnet pediment, which shows off a dramatic carved shell bonnet pediment and swan neck pediment moldings, recalls eras of the past and adds the warmth of generations to your home. The clock is flanked by distinguished columns on either side of a breathtaking crystal-cut V-grooved glass door that locks. The polished brass dial of this floor clock includes elaborate corner spandrels, plus a silver chapter ring with black Arabic numerals. Above the face is a stationary arc with a blue moon phase. The beautiful brass work of the face is complemented by a polished brass pendulum and chime weight shells.
The chain-driven Kieninger movement offers a Westminster chime with a chime silence option. Use adjustable levelers under each corner to make the clock stable on uneven floors and carpet. The sophistication and tradition your Nicea grandfather clock brings to life will be appreciated deeply by you, your family, and generations of family in your future.
